• Q. How long will it take to change over our systems?
• It depends on your industry, complexity of operations, and the amount of customization you may need. You’ll get no surprises though, as we lay out all timelines before you have to make a commitment. Our project managers will ensure your changeover is a success.
• Q. How much will it cost us?
• Costs vary depending on your industry, your company anatomy and which modules you choose. We’re dedicated to providing return on your investment, so talk to us and we’ll quickly see if we can work within your budget.
• Q. We’re mariners, not computer geeks. How long will it take us to learn HELM?
• Most users can be working within the system within an hour or two of training. Because we’ve spent a lot of time within marine transportation companies, the screens are designed with you in mind and are very easy to use.
• Q. We don’t have an IT department. Will HELM work for us?
• Yes. As long as your employees have access to the Internet, we can host the application for you. This way you have no added IT costs, and our customer service department is accessible 24/7 to help you with any problems.
• Q. We have our own IT staff and want to host the program ourselves. Is that okay?
• No problem. We’ll come for a visit, implement the software on your servers, and ensure that everything is working well for you. You’ll still be able to access our customer service 24/7 if you need help or have any questions.
• Q. Where is our information stored?
• That’s up to you. We give you the option of hosting the information at your location, or we’ll host it for you here on our dedicated secure servers. In either case, you own the information.
• Q. What about our existing data or information… can that be imported to the new system?
• Yes. Our project managers and team of industry-specific developers can transform almost any digital information into our existing system.
