Inventory / Purchase

Ever wonder how many fan belts you have at the warehouse or if that same fan belt is located on another vessel? Wouldn’t it be nice if an order was automatically created if you were low on fan belts? With HELM, this type of information is at your fingertips. The Inventory module can be tied directly to the HELM Maintenance module in order to deplete inventory automatically when parts are used in work orders. If inventory goes below a pre-set minimum level, then the Purchasing system will automatically create a purchase order. Simple.

HELM Onboard is a small piece of Windows-based software that runs on your vessels, collects important information, and transfers it back to head office over satellite, cellular, or WiFi. If used in conjunction with other HELM modules, information on shore can also be synchronized with your vessels. It's the easiest onboard system to learn and use because of the intelligent touch-screen design and simple interface.
