Revamped Helm Onboard™ Closes Loop with Shore, Saves Time and Money
Building on the success of their original on-vessel software, Helm Onboard™, Edoc is giving the new release a serious upgrade. Slated for launch at the end of 2011, the new Helm Onboard™, which boasts the sub modules Captain Log, Crew Pay, and Maintenance will continue to send and receive data, automatically process data, and trigger events on shore. That may sound like old hat to users of onboard systems, but upon closer inspection this new release of Onboard has significant "under-the-hood" upgrades that are geared to save workboat companies even more time and money.
