Edoc to present on Near Miss Reporting at Pacific Marine Expo

Seattle, WA - On November 18, 2010 Bill Reid, Director of Operations for Edoc Systems Group Ltd. will present to attendees of the Pacific Marine Expo on the importance of near miss reporting.

"Safety in the workboat business is paramount for everyone involved," says Reid.
"Statistics from various agencies and industries indicate a relationship between the number of near miss reports to the number of accidents, injuries and fatalities." Knowing this, every effort should be made to report, track and analyze near miss reports so we can prevent and reduce the number of serious incidents.

This presentation will discuss the rationale for increasing Near Miss reporting; including benefits, change management and adopted strategies to increasing crew participation in near miss reporting.

This presentation coincides with Edoc's recent development work on their latest safety software module, Helm Safety Manager™.
